We Are Sustainable Fashion
At Emergence Restock, we create clothing with deep consideration for sustainable fashion processes.
Our approach centres on thoughtful design that respects both people and planet. Our collections are formed through the use of upcycled and reworked vintage, end-of-roll fabrics, and natural fibres for our core range.
We are proud to produce our garments in-house in Britain. Within our local studio, we adopt a responsive, zero-waste mindset to minimise fabric wastage. All remaining materials are reused for trims, future samples, or reworked into new designs — extending the life of every textile we touch.
Over-Consumption
In the UK alone, over-consumption has become the norm — from impulse online purchases to buying outfits for a single event and never wearing them again. Yet looking good does not need to damage the world we live in.
Driven by fast fashion, the global demand for man-made fibres has doubled in the last 25 years. This growth releases increasing volumes of harmful chemicals during production, which enter our water systems, remain on garments worn against our skin, and ultimately pollute landfills.
At Emergence Restock, we design clothing that is timeless, high quality and not trend-led. Each piece is created to be invested in and treasured. Our garments are produced in limited quantities, not mass manufacture.
Waste
We go through a huge amount of wastage every year. An estimated £140 million worth (350,000 tonnes) of used clothing goes to landfill in the UK every year. We want to minimise this number by upcycling garments, adding to the lifecycle of a garment until its eventual end in the hands of a customer who will truly cherish every moment.
Friendly Fibers
By using fibres that are sustainable and eco friendly, we are preventing harmful chemicals being distributed into our atmosphere and water at production, and preventing harmful chemicals being then transferred onto our skin when we wear them.
